Fears are designed to protect us.  If you have a bad experience, your mind may cause you to be afraid.  The subconsicous mind is programmed to avoid pain, and anything which reminds you of a bad experience will be classified as pain.
The subconscous mind acts like a computer and simply links things together.  You may not even be consciously aware of this linking process, but the next time a similar situation presents itself your subconscous mind will automatically alert you to possible trouble. 
There may not be any trouble at all, but one of the jobs of the subconscious mind is to keep us away from pain so that we can emotionally and physically survive.

BUT, many times the programming becomes a problem.  It can slow us down and fail to reflect our current situation.  Certain situations don't always mean trouble....but until we change the programming..... we may avoid people and situations in which our subconsicous minds have labeled as scary!

Words have a profound effect on us so it is important to use positive words to help us to do our best.
Words are everywhere, we can declare war, declare love..........words move nations...... Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King...........words surround us....we use them to communicate ...POSITIVE words can motivate......negative words can bring us down.... 
So.......... we can program ourselves for SUCCESS with POSITIVE words.......... BELIEVE AND I WILL ACHIEVE...................or we can program ourselves for failure.........'My life is going nowhere' ....
Words we say about ourselves are registered as fact by our subconscious mind.  Whether or not they are valid is irrelevant.  The subconscious mind does not know the difference between fact and fiction, right and wrong or good and bad.  It simply stores data like a computer.
We have choices.............make them POSITIVE.
Talk POSITIVELY about your present, your future, and yourself....if you catch yourself using negative words....reword those phrases into something positive.
Surround yourself with positive people...
.......are there people in your life who bring you down?
.......who don't believe in your potential?.
.......who consistently talk you out of reaching higher?..
.......who want you to 'play it safe for your own good?.....
AVOID negative people and negative conversations and you will soon find your mind drifting toward positive ideas.
So much of our negative programming comes to us through the media......We passively watch and listen, but our subconscious mind records everything.
Control what you watch on TV, radio and read in the paper.........some networks have managed to train people to have anxiety on cue.....so control the box....
....Newpapers accomplish the same goal, raising our anxiety level....displaying tragedy as headline news.........take control of what goes in your head.
......There are real situations going on which need our attention.....but find ways to protect yourself from the constant barrage of negativity being aimed at us...
.......The information is often valid, but can be packaged in a very harmful way..... ......sensationalised..........events and topics in news stories and pieces are over-hyped to increase viewership or readership numbers........
....So become picky about who you allow to put information in your head......clear your mind of all the rubbish being aimed at it by yourself and others and then you will be better able to live your life on your own terms and help others........
